<message>Thanks for sharing this exhibit! I especially like the concept of the "evolving skyscraper".

As with any constructive exhibits, I'm very curious as to how destructive visitors have been these 3 years. Boil it down to cultural difference, but we've even lost fist-sized wooden blocks from our exhibits every now and again. Makes me very sad.</message>

    <message>Maraya,
Thanks for sharing this story. I wanted to share an multitouch mashup that we've developed that combines NOAA oil spill data and Flickr photos from the gulf. We are making this application available to museums and aquariums (it does require some specialized hardware). There's more about it on our blog.

<message>I thought this was interesting. The Exec director is saying that this new exhibit may be the first time a major aquarium is showcasing an environmental disaster rather than beautiful fish.

<message>I just joined Exhibit Files and found this wonderful review of our exhibit work. This project was an amazing collaboration of experts and extremely talented people. Thank you, Pete! It is very gratifying to know that our peers are evaluating each other's work. Those of us in the field know how much of our creative energy goes into developing exhibits, and often times our hearts and our minds. Mine was certainly all in on this one, and we are very happy about the way it all came together. This exhibit was designed after we had been working in Yosemite for 14 years, and it made the process that much more rich and exciting. I would be glad to provide more information on the exhibit, as the Park Service has not yet set up a web site. Some of our photos are shown here in the slide show above. We do have many more. <message>Like many historical societies, Summit County Historical has old portraits on the wall. I am usually left wondering why these people were significant enough to have their picture in the museum. I loved how their story is attached right next to the photo.
